Naomi and the crew have their personal problems, but it’s not solely about the drama. The friendships that bind the characters reveal a lot through even casual conversation and interaction. Naomi and the crew party and have a good time; they discuss spiritual topics and current events; they laugh and joke … and babysit.
S.F. Powell novels have numerous signature elements which only add to the fun. Some of the components are obvious … others not so much. Book club members can put their heads together to identify them all.
Bonuses for Book Clubs
Okay. Everyone has their book and their cup of tea (or glass of wine as the case may be), and now it’s time to get the discussion rolling. I’ve provided sample questions to serve as conversation starters for each novel. There may be clues to answers for some questions right here on the website.
Another idea for group fun is to take the book quizzes together. With tablet or laptop in hand, book club members can form teams and make a game of it. Good people, good book, good food/drink, good fun. Go for it!

Book club members read for the fun of it, for the camaraderie of engaging and analyzing the story goings-on.They debate a plot point and discuss any symbolism. They argue a character’s choices and have a good time sharing the chapter or chapters that touched them most.
